Matrix Partners India calls for applications for the next batch at The Space

The first batch of 12 startup teams at The Space have had the opportunity to learn and grow at the co-working space. "We get to meet other startups with whom we are able to discuss our problems and brainstorm on new ideas" said the 34-year-old IIT Kharagpur engineer, Anupam Sarawagi, cofounder of online grocer and on-demand delivery service 9monks. Sessions at The Space conducted by Nikunj Jain, Founder, Frankly.me on User Acquisition and Anurag Saran, Product Head, Quikr on Product Market Fit were well received by the startup teams. The batch has also attracted interest by investors. Mumbai-based Armoire Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, which runs an online platform for women's luxury wear Envoged.com, recently raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding.

The Space aims to provide cost effective infrastructure for 3-6 person startup teams who will be selected by a panel of investors from the Mumbai startup ecosystem. Startups at the pre-product or product development stages will be given priority vs. more mature startups.

Applications are open for the next cycle, scheduled to start in the 2nd week of September. For information on how to apply visit www.matrixpartners.in/forentrepreneurs.php or contact thespace@matrixpartners.com
