Having grown up in Europe, Sanjot attended the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani in India for undergraduate studies, from where he graduated in three and half years having earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (honors). He then went on to earn an MBA from Yale University, where he was the first Silver Scholar from India, as well as a Dean’s merit scholar and a Joseph Wright Alsop Memorial Scholar, in addition to being awarded the TATA endowment scholarship.
Sanjot has experience across 15+ industries in India, the United States and Europe.He has worked across Consumer goods, Healthcare, Information Technology, Industrial goods and Financial services, among others. His work has included growth strategy, M&A, performance improvement, market entry, turnaround strategy as well go-to-market execution.During the course of his career, Sanjot has had a wide variety of exposure to companies in various stages of their lifecycle; including setting up completely new businesses, to helping grow fledgling up-starts to stabilizing and re-invigorating large enterprises.
Outside work, Sanjot is passionate about equitable and inclusive growth in India, and in the past has worked on policy formation for the Indian government, in addition to having authored a research paper on the subject. As a former sportsperson, Sanjot represented his state in the Santosh Trophy, national soccer championships, and has also captained The Hague Cricket Club in the Netherlands. As an investor, Sanjot is excited about finding opportunities with the potential to create widespread and longstanding impact in the world.
