Prior to joining Matrix, Anirudh was leading digital marketing and user growth for Snapdeal, India's largest e-commerce marketplace.Under his leadership, Snapdeal saw a 25X growth in mobile app adoption, massive transaction growth, and a steady increase in customer retention.Being at the forefront of the e-commerce revolution in the country, Anirudh got a ringside view of what it takes to be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic and ultra-competitive industry.
Before that, Anirudh was head of strategy at RadixRegistry.com (a business unit of the Directi Group).He led the $30 million application process for the firm under ICANN's new gTLD program, helping secure many valuable TLDs (domain extensions) such as .online, .press and .website.This experience of business planning and strategy, managing operations, strategic partnerships and technology gave Anirudh a deep understanding of the skills required to build and successfully scale internet businesses.
Anirudh started his career with McKinsey & Company, post which he setup and successfully ran a bootstrapped internet services business focused on the US real estate and e-commerce sectors for close to 3 years.
