Anand

Anand graduated from the Indian School of Business (ISB). At ISB, he was the Graduate Student Body President, won the Chairman All-Rounder award, Young Leader Award, and was placed on Dean's list & Merit list. Graduate Business Forum (GBF) recognized him with international acclaim (Beacon Award) for his exemplary leadership in school during the pandemic.

Before ISB, he was leading a team of 75 people at Shipra Commercial (SME in Apparel production and retail) as their Chief Operating Officer. There, he successfully restructured organization capabilities. Before that, he was with Blackstone Private Equity as a consultant managing a $2bn commercial real estate portfolio wherein he supervised acquisition takeovers, administered portfolio co. management, fostered sell/hold decisions, and conducted exit valuations. Before Blackstone, he worked as an Investment Banker with Deutsche Bank across their India and London office covering the Industrial sector in the EMEA region.

He is a Chartered Accountant (CA), has been placed in all India top 50 merit-list thrice in professional examinations, and started his professional career with a three-year article-ship with PwC, Assurance, auditing top Indian listed entities alongside pursuing CA. He has cleared all three levels of CFA (US) and has completed his B.com (H) from Calcutta University. Anand loves playing Basketball and Poker.
